Best Kid Tip for Flight Travel EVER!!!

ARE YOU FLYING ANYWHERE WITH YOUR KIDS THIS SUMMER?

Best Kid Tip for Flying ... You will LOVE me for sharing this!

We went away to Cabo early this summer and had the most AMAZING flight experience with both kids we were traveling with because of this ONE, SIMPLE idea!
 PRESENTS!!!

Disney Toy Story backpack with luggage wheels for small children
  • Get your child their very own backpack that they can carry if they don't already have one! Wheels are best in case it gets too heavy, but either way is fine. (Good news, if you need to buy one, they will use it in school one day)
  • Go to the Dollar Tree or 99¢ Store and load up on about 8 - 10 items for each child (more if you think will fit). - For example: packs of stickers, crayons with a small coloring book, hot wheels cars, small figurine barbie type toys, puzzles, etc...
  • Wrap each present, stuff half of them inside the backpack and then leave other half in your bag!
Tasty Brand Organic Fruit Snacks, Mixed Fruit Flavors, 2.75-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)
  • Put some treats (organic lollipops, sweet snacks, Tasty Gummies, etc) small sandwich, freeze dried fruit from Trader Joes, chips and a juice box in a little bag that will fit in the backpack for the trip in the car, airport and especially the flight.
  • Once you get on the plane you can start with either a snack or a present to open! I started with a present as we had 20 minutes to kill before we even took off! Just watch your child light up with each small, new and fun present! These things keep them busy! Do not let them know in advance that there are more coming, let it be a surprise each time! There will be no crying kids on that flight ... or at least not your kids! ;)

VERY IMPORTANT: try to leave about 4 or 5 of those wrapped presents either in your suitcase or another bag so you can use them on your flight home! And if our child is getting bored or whiny on the actual vacation, you can always pull out a couple fun toys, even more mobile ones to throw around! Listen, I don't ever recommend giving a whiny child a present - I get it. But when you need a vacation ... well, you get my point!

Best part ... this whole thing costs anywhere between $15 - $20. Hands down the best $20 you will spend for the flight!

Happy Flying Moms & Dads!
